55+ Years of St. Louis Security
Philibert Security Systems was founded right here in St. Louis in 1971, at a time when electronic security was an emerging technology and most homeowners had never heard of central station monitoring.
It started with one determined teenager. At just 18, founder Benjamin Philibert ran the company from his bedroom in a Brentwood frame house — a one-man, 24-hour operation competing against 77 listed alarm firms. Over the following decades, we grew alongside the St. Louis community — installing systems in Chesterfield, Clayton, Ladue, Webster Groves, Kirkwood, and across the entire metro area. We watched technology evolve from basic hardwired systems to today's fully interactive, smartphone-connected security platforms, and we've stayed at the forefront of every advancement.
